Medhey: Bhutan's Super App, Built with Kotlin Multiplatform
One app for everyday life in Bhutan: groceries, international shopping, buy-rent-sell, mobile recharge, nearby places, real-time flight booking, a wallet and payments in Ngultrum.

The challenge
Medhey had grown into many separate services, and keeping two native apps in step meant every feature was built twice and behaved slightly differently on each platform.
What I built
- Moved business logic, networking, validation and state into a shared Kotlin Multiplatform core, so Android and iOS render the same tested state.
- Native UI on each platform: Jetpack Compose on Android and SwiftUI on iOS, following one feature pattern (UiState, Actions, Events).
- Real-time flight search, fare rules, fare quotes and passenger booking against the Adivaha flight API.
- In-app support chat and voice calls with Zoho SalesIQ, including release-build hardening for unreliable networks.
- Wallet, vouchers, notifications, order returns and an in-app browser, all on the shared core.
